Designed for Extended Power Failures
The MINUTEMAN XRT Series provides the user with rock solid protection from all types of power fluctuations, including long periods of utility failure or blackout conditions. Its unique design allows for connection of multiple external battery packs to backup vital business equipment for extended periods of time. The XRT offers a combination of unlimited runtime and excellent features unlike any competitive product.

Solutions for Critical Applications
The XRT Series is the ideal solution for protection of critical business applications such as phone systems, security systems, network devices, and large servers. Each powerful unit provides the user with comprehensive protection from spikes, surges, brownouts, and blackouts. Models are offered in 600, 1000, 1500, and 2000 VA sizes to cover a wide range of needs. Since different applications have different backup requirements, two external battery packs are available for use with any of the XRT Series models, the XRT BP1 or the larger XRT BP3, which is the equivalent of 5 XRT BP1 packs.

Rich Features, Intelligent Design
The XRT Series offers several rich features such as unlimited runtime, true sinewave output for sensitive equipment, line interactive design, the ability to start equipment from battery power, and an isolation transformer that provides a virtual firewall between input power and power to your equipment. This transformer reduces the risk of equipment damage from extreme surges and spikes, and it also reduces EMI/RFI emissions noise from the line. Models also incorporate several intelligent features such as a microprocessor to more effectively handle UPS functions like battery charging and a detailed LCD display standard on XRT 1000 and larger units (optional on the XRT 600). In addition, each model has a unique design that allows stacking of XRT BP1 battery packs beneath the unit itself, making it perfect for use in areas with limited floor space.

When used with MINUTEMAN SentryII ™ power management software, the XRT Series becomes a fully manageable component of a network system. This software is a comprehensive, feature-rich product that extends the range of power management capabilities within a network environment by allowing unattended shutdown, flexible event management, warning message broadcast, and multiple diagnostic and graphing tools. The XRT Series package includes a coupon for a copy of MINUTEMAN SentryII ™ for all major operating systems such as Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000, Linux, Unix, and Novell Netware.
