I have a PML900 p/n 9200-3010-00. The other morning, the alarm sounded and the fault (red) light was on. I powered off the unit then back on with the same result. Nothing was being powered off the unit at the time. I replaced the batteries (had been 4 years) and still have the same problem. The board looks good, but I don't have the schematics, to test. Any suggestions on what to check or test. Or where to find schematics.
Thanks Charlie |

Charlie,
I assume you discharged the logic board when replaced the batteries. If you did not the Micro Processor could be locked up.
Please call me I can send you a fax that might help you recover your unit.

I got your fax! Thanks! It looked like it was going to work, then after about a minute, the Fault light comes back w/alarm. Any other suggestions?

Charlie,
I think it may be blown! If the Microprocessor was not discharged before you hooked the battery then it might by bad know! I have a couple of options for you in your case.
1st option
We have a flat rate repair cost of $265.00
We can determine what is wrong with your unit in house.
2nd option
We have a trade-in program that you might consider, I will give you a discount for a new unit.
My suggestion would be the MCP1000 trade-in
Here is a datasheet address you can look at the product.
