My UPS unit beeps twice every once in a while. It might go a few hours without doing it, and it just did it three times in the last 30-40 minutes.

What does that mean?

Slobizman,
Good Morning,
What is the serial # on the back of the UPS? How long have you had the UPS?
You might have a bad battery?

Let us know.

Jeff

3D54050200235

I only purchased it last week from ProVantage.com.

Remember, the beeping is very random. I have not noticed it yet this morning (three hours so far), but yesterday it did it several times an hour. And, it's always two beeps.

I installed three other units at the same time in the house. They are not doing it.

What does two beeps mean anyway??

slobizman,
The double beep would indicate a low battery. From your e-mail you have had them installed several days.
Please try this:
I would like you to please pull the plug from the wall outlet and let the unit go to battery.
You should hear only one beep every ten seconds.

If you hear two beeps immediatley the charger on that unit might have an issue.

We can discuss further after we try the battery test.

Jeff

slobizman,
I would monitor it for a couple of days.

Let me know if you hear again.

For some reason it hasn't been doing it today. Could it be that it took up to a week to fully charge the UPS? Doesn't seem likely since I charged it overnight before attaching anything to it.

I'll let you know in a few days.

It stopped the beeping a couple weeks ago. Everything is fine.
