| After a 2 hour power outage yesterday our E750 is beeping 3 times every 5 minutes. The unit worked fine during the outage and eventually ran out of battery. It is working fine now and has one green led light on the front. Everything seems normal except for this beeping. Do I need to do a self test? Any ideas? |

| Wouldn't there be an indicator light for that? |

Joshv,
Please try cycling the E750 to battery mode and back. The unit might think it has a bad battery and this should clear the beeps.

| The self test (hold power button down 4 seconds until it beeps twice) fixed the issue. I probably need new batteries because of the age but the unit itself is not indicating that it needs new batteries. So it fixed the issue of it beeping every 5 minutes. |

Joshv,
If the unit is over 4 years old, you should replace the batteries.
