I recently recieved a message prompting me to replace the batteries in our Pro 1000 Series UPS. I did replace both batteries and I am getting a green light for ONLINE. However, the past 2 days I have been getting the same message to replace the battery. Is there a reset procedure? I didn't read anything about this in the manual. Any ideas?
Thanks,

Ken,

When you say you are receiving a message to replace the battery, I assume you mean the Replace Battery LED is still illuminated. Most of the time, the Replace Battery LED will clear on it's own, but in some cases, you will need to reset the unit manually. Running the self test (pg. 7 in your manual) should turn off the Replace Battery LED.

Thanks,
Ed

Ed, Thanks for the quick reply. The Battery Low LED on the actual unit is off. But I will take your suggestion on a self test. Thanks for the info.

By the way, do you know if the Pro series 1000 allows a pass through if the UPS power is off? Say I turned the unit off and back on, will there be an interuption of AC power?

Thanks again,
Ken

The Pro1000 has one outlet that is a surge only. You can plug into that outlet. When you turn the power switch on you will not have an interruption on the surge only.
