My SmartSine S1400 is beeping three times every 10 minutes. The only light that is lit on the front panel is the green online LED, which is a solid green.
From reading the forums here, it seems the standard answer is "you need new batteries." If this is truly the case, why doesn't the Weak/Bad Battery LED light up?
Or does it just start beeping after the default battery life setting of 1826 days has elapsed? |

| 3 beeps or the battery led means you need new batteries. Batteries last 3-5 years. Default battery life setting has nothing to do with it. |

Then I would like to make two suggestions to improve your product:
1. Add this information to the manual. There is currently nothing in the manual stating what 3 beeps mean.
2. When this situation arises, illuminate the Bad Battery LED on the front panel. That way, even people who lost the manual know how to fix the problem. |
