Our phone system is on a MinuteMan Pro 1000 UPS (an older white one). I noticed the red replace battery light (picture of a battery with an X through it) on the other day so I ordered replacement batteries and replaced them. The light is still on and the batteries I replaced seemed pretty good when I tested them. I replaced the batteries while the unit was on. Do I need to power cycle the unit for the light to go off or do I possibly have another problem?

Radmin,

Your safest bet is to power cycle the unit...
