my minute man 525 says that it can support a monitor , I was thinking about using it as a support for a hdtv. I would only plug the tv into the 525. the reasoning is this when a hdtv tv that runs a 120 watt bulb stops suddenly the fan stops and the bulb cannot cool down properly. monster power has a three hundred doller ups that it say will allow the fan to keep running , now I would rather use the minuteman because it's much cheaper and I assume the tiny fan would still work. I read you didn't think that these should be used for fans but this would be a small one in the tv. thanks, mike
