Does the S1000 provide AUTOMATIC voltage regulation? Or must I flip a switch or something when I see the voltage drop? The back picture has a "Dip Switch"..what is that for? Also, I'm going to be using this for a plasma television. Do you envision any problems with this? One more question..I'm thinking of ordering through Page Computers.com. Are they authorized? What's your policy on different internet sellers? Thanks for your time,

Actually, now I'm leaning towards Provantage.com. Are they cool? Also, Provantage state that there is no return on this unit. What if I get it and there is something wrong?
Thanks again!

George,
The Smartsine series has automatic voltage regulation. The dipswitches on the back are for changing the output voltage. When you purchase the Smartsine unit, you will receive a 3 year warranty. If at anytime during the 3 years you have a failure, you can contact Minutemanups tech support for assistance.

Mr. Bush,
Good Morning,
Here is the specification for the S1000 series.
Powerful Features
True Sinewave Output
Line-Interactive Topology
700, 1000, 1400 and 2000 VA Units
8 Receptacles on Each Unit
Independent Battery Bypass
Fax/Modem/Data Protection
A line-interactive UPS runs constantly on incoming utility power, and uses built-in voltage regulation circuitry to adjust incoming power if it is too low or too high. The process allows the UPS to protect connected equipment from small changes in voltage without using its internal batteries. This voltage regulation extends the life of the UPS batteries and preserves backup power for when it is most needed during complete blackout conditions. MINUTEMAN’s MBK-E Series and PRO-E Series are line-interactive products that produce a simulated sinewave output on battery. By contrast, the SmartSine Series, Enterprise Series, and XRT Series are line-interactive products that produce a true sinewave output on battery.

Thanks guys. I'm going to order one today. I'll be back to register the warranty and post about how it went hooking it up.
