New Products Offer Advanced Features, Ergonomic Designs with Competitive Pricing

Carrollton, Texas - November 1, 2005 - Executives with MINUTEMAN® UPS are proud to announce the release of two medium range surge protection models as part of a comprehensive line of MINUTEMAN SURGE products that address the non-UPS, power protection markets.

The MMS900 and MMS2100 are two introductory product models that feature seven surge-protected outlets with safety covers and a seven-foot power cord. These ergonomically designed products are transformer-friendly and provide 900 joules, (MMS900), and 2100 joules, (MMS2100), of energy absorption. The MMS2100 also offers a single input port and two output ports for phone, fax or modem surge protection.

The MMS Surge Line was developed to provide spike and surge protection for all types of sensitive electronic products ranging from PC's to Home Theater, Audio/Visual, Telecommunications, and CCTV equipment, as well as general electronic appliances. The launch of the MMS Line is the first step in a multi-phase process to expand MINUTEMAN's traditional single-phase UPS product line, introducing MINUTEMAN to new markets and customers.
